
CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY SERVICES -
Services are designed for Adult and Adolescent clients whose basic attachments (family, work, school, etc.) and management of daily activities is impaired through the abusive use of alcohol and/or other drugs. Services consist of counseling for individuals, families and groups, chemical dependency education, aftercare and medical evaluation, and linking with other social and community resources. Relapse prevention and other specialty groups are provided as needed.
Our suburban clinic offers a unique track for clients who are experiencing both mental health and chemical dependency concerns. Services are also available for adolescents abusing, or at risk of abusing substances due to a history of family chemical dependency, attend group treatment with other teens. Parents and other family members are expected to participate.
The city clinic offers substance abuse outreach services to engage individuals in need of chemical dependency treatment from schools, courts and community-based organizations. Case management services are provided to help the consumer link with treatment.
